| A Helicopter by Sea |
|
Recently, WOLS Logistics was contracted by a large corporate house in India to move a Bell 407 helicopter to Malaysia. The choice of transport was between a container ship and a break bulk vessel including Ro-Ro option. Considering the safety of transportation, the client accepted our suggestion of moving this on a container ship. Our engineering team was on site to help dismantle and load the helicopter on to the container. Being a high value cargo, the challenge was to ensure that the helicopter is loaded and safely transported in time to the destination without any scratches or damages.
